This position requires expert technical aptitude in working with our field sales and service organization, customers and industry to make appropriate recommendations of effective sanitation programs that produce quality results at an economical cost.<br><br><b><br><br><b><b>Main Responsibilities</b>:</b><br><br></b><br><br>* Troubleshooting complex customer sanitation or related problems, which are unusual or which are beyond the expected ability of our Account Managers and District Managers.<br><br>* Communicate to the sales force, sales staff and management, techniques and general information regarding products, services, equipment and procedures.<br><br>* Train account managers and customers in technical applications of Ecolab Food & Beverage products, programs and systems.<br><br>* Provide technical support related to the following areas: operational savings, troubleshooting of problems, ROUF solutions, plant startups, in-plant training and audits of customers operations.<br><br>* Provide counsel and complex problem solving to Food & Beverage customers, concerning products and equipment as well as total plant quality programs and related issues.<br><br>* Provide verbal and written reports detailing the recommendations that are made to customers or F&B personnel.<br><br>* Plan and manage within given budget parameters development of programs for improved sanitation or related products, procedures and services.<br><br>* Field testing of new products or procedures as assigned.<br><br>* Provide recommendations related to safety standards and protocol.<br><br><b>Basic Qualifications:</b><br/><br><br>* B.S. or M.S. degree in Microbiology, Engineering or Dairy/Food Science.<br><br>* Experience (8 years) in dairy or food plant operations or quality control, preferably in supervision of multi-plant operations is desired.<br><br>* Willingness to travel up to 75%<br><br><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b><br/><br><br>* Above average oral and written communication skills are mandatory, as is a degree of computer and mechanical aptitude.<br><br>* Demonstrated problem solving skills are mandatory.<br><br>* Ability to take initiative and work independently<br><br>* Strong follow-through and organizational skills<br><br>* Ability to prioritize multiple projects and to adapt to changing priorities<br><br>* Willingness and ability to work off hours<br><br>* Valid driver's license and clean driving record<br><br>* Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred<br><br>* A company vehicle will be provided as part of your total compensation package.<br><br>* No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity.<br><br>CIP sanitation safety dairy food brewery HACCP sanitarian food processing hydrite johnson diversey<br><br>AutoReqId 17695BR]]></description>
