In this entry-level full-time Route Manager position, you will provide timely and cost effective cleaning and sanitation solutions within an established sales route to your around the clock customers consisting of restaurants and other Institutional foodservice accounts. Main Responsibilities:



* Using your mechanical aptitude, install and repair dish machines, laundry equipment and dispensing systems. Demonstrate safe equipment use and ensure the machines and dispensing systems are fully operational.

* Suggest and sell additional cleaning solutions and ideas to your current accounts to create customer satisfaction.

Key Qualifications:



* Demonstrated hands-on mechanical ability, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical experience.

* Ability to sell value added products to existing customers.

* Effectively identify and resolve problems efficiently while working independently displaying a disciplined work style and strong work ethic.

* Flexibility to adapt and adjust your day to assist your customers in order to succeed in this fast paced, around the clock environment.

* You must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds.

In our Lean Six Sigma chemical manufacturing plant the Production Manager will drive culture change through continuous improvement initiatives that will include employee engagement in safety, quality, Kiazen events and 5S initiatives. The Production Manager leads a team of 3 Supervisors and approx 38 mixer and line operators in this ISO 9000 certified facility. In this key plant leadership role, s/he will have interaction with divisional business leaders and will continue to develop the processes in manufacturing, quality, planning, procurement and distribution of this $200 million dollar Canadian business. This facility produces 85 million pounds of liquid cleaning product, including DIN products and is the hub that distributes all products distributed to the Canadian market place. An immediate challenge will be to develop, mentor and promote Production Supervisors who will become our next quality, distribution, EHS or Production Managers in planned succession. We are looking for change agents to be part of our World Class Organization with the passion to drive the plant leadership team on our journey to World Class Manufacturing. Successful candidates will provide documented achievements in attaining excellence in safety, quality and productivity. Success in this role will lead to advancement opportunities in such areas as a Corporate Black Belt or Plant Manager.



Main Responsibilities:

Drives culture of safety where associates are engaged in behavior based safety and 5S initiatives.

* Manages the daily manufacturing operations of the plant to ensure that the manufacturing plan is executed in a manner that meets or exceeds quality and cost objectives. Ensures that Quality system is followed. Ensures that products produced meet specifications.

Basic Qualifications:


* 4-year degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science or other engineering disciplines.

* Six-years manufacturing experience in a related consumer goods industry with experience in at least 2 operations functional areas, e.g. Production, Distribution, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, Compliance or HR.

* 3 years as a manager of supervisors in manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications:


* Advanced Technical Degree or MBA and Lean Six Sigma black or green belt certification.

* Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively to build & develop a superior production team.

* Knowledge of financial measurements of Operations, capital mgmt experience and Strong Computer literacy.
