The  Maintenance Supervisor is an Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Chemical Engineer who leads and develops a team of mechanics to reduce downtime across a three-shift 24/5 chemical manufacturing operation.   This is an exciting opportunity to prove your capability and position yourself to relocate for advancement to other roles in Ecolab's North America or Global Engineering teams in plant and corporate roles. <br/><br/> You will develop maintenance schedules to avoid manufacturing downtime and quality issues and will establish performance expectations as you engage a team of 12 mechanical technicians to ensure plant assets are maintained at their designed operating performance using cost-effective, safe and quality-conscious methods. We are looking an Engineer who has demonstrated the rapport and leadership necessary to coach and engage mechanics in the proactive behaviors that reduce downtime.   <br/><br/> As Maintenance Supervisor you will participate on Lean Six Sigma teams and gain Green Belt training. In addition to driving maintenance and maintenance planning, you will manage some capital projects and installation of equipment. <br/><br/>  <b><br><br><b><b>Main Responsibilities</b>:</b><br><br></b>   <br/><b>·</b> Prescribes a regular maintenance program, leads maintenance team, develops productivity measures and provides team training and support to ensure that equipment and facility function as planned to avoid downtime.  <br/><br/><b>·</b> Manage good working relationships with internal departments, contractors, suppliers and inspectors.  <br/><br/><b>·</b> Manage supply procurement, budget preparation and scheduling.  <br/><br/><b>·</b> Develops and manages annual plant maintenance budget.   <br/><br/><b>·</b> Leads maintenance team, develops productivity measures and provides training and support.  <br/><br/><b>·</b> Generates and implements ideas that improve quality indicators, in line with cost, investment and service goals.   <br/><br/><b>·</b> Selects and manages maintenance, equipment & engineering vendors.  <br/><br/><b>·</b> Manages capital authorization development & implementation to address facility and existing equipment issues.  <br/><br/><b>·</b> Ensures capital projects are executed per the budget and timeline.  <br/><br/><b>Basic Qualifications:</b><br/>         <br/><b>·</b> Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.   <br/><br/><b>·</b> 4 - 8 years experience in consumer product Quality, Manufacturing, R&D and/or Engineering function? <br/><br/><b>·</b> 3 - 8 years experience as a lead maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing plant. <br/><br/><b>·</b> 1 - 4 years hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment in a consumer product manufacturing plant?
