Job Description:

In this full-time service position, the Service Specialist will provide timely and cost effective pest detection, elimination and preventative solutions to an established route for Ecolab's Pest Elimination Division. Assuming responsibility for a territory of restaurant, lodging, and food service customers, you will receive leading edge training to support your career development and ensure customer satisfaction. Key to your success will be your ability to partner with your customers to provide a solutions oriented approach to resolving their pest challenges, sanitation and structural concerns. Additionally, you will service and merchandise prevention solutions with ideas to create customer satisfaction. With your dedicated focus on using integrated pest management techniques, you strive to exceed customers' needs and challenges.



Main Responsibilities:


·Establish effective working relationships with external/internal customers.

·Keep abreast of Ecolab's product/service offerings and industry conditions, to enhance service and sales of pest prevention/elimination solutions.

·Educate customers on best practices to identify, eliminate and solve pest problems.

·Use technology to manage structural, sanitation and pest issues.

·Maintain flexibility to adjust your day to assist customers in a round-the-clock, fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

Key Qualifications:


·Previous front-line service experience combined with a high school diploma, post secondary education is an asset.

·Hands-on pest elimination industry experience plus a provincial structural applicator's license is a definite asset.

·Self-starter focused on quality service with the ability to recommend value added products and services.

·Organization skills, disciplined work style and strong work ethic to ensure your effectiveness in planning your schedule to achieve your territory goals.

·Effective problem solving skills with ability to work independently.

·Must be available to respond to customer emergency service requests on weeknights, weekends, and holidays in a 24/7-work environment.

·Good computer skills, a valid drivers license and good driving record; able to lift and carry 50 pounds.

Job Description:


Within Ecolab Canada's head office in Mississauga, as the Customer Service Manager, you will manage the overall Customer Service requirements of supported Ecolab Canada Business Units across the country. You will supervise the daily activities of the customer service department, maintain orderly work flow of the team in conjunction with the Associate Supervisor, and provide effective and efficient service. You will also be available to counsel service staff to ensure good customer relations are maintained and manage the telecommunications equipment.



Main Responsibilities:


·Hire, train, develop, and manage performance of call center Associates.

·Develop and refine call center procedures leading to a high-performing, team-based environment.

·Ensure a high level of customer service through fair and effective resolution of escalated customer issues.

·Maintain high morale within the call centre to ensure associates provide customers and the field with a positive experience when contacting Ecolab.

·Manage call center operations and processes to maximize efficiency utilizing call statistics and other data, including order entry, scheduling, system enhancements, Rim Messaging and master file maintenance.

·Manage, utilize, and recommend changes to telecommunications equipment and support systems.

·Manage the overall billing functions for the Canadian Business Units.

·Responsible for a team of 1 Associate Supervisor and 17 full time/part time CSR's.



Key Qualifications:


·Related Post Secondary education or equivalent.

·5+ years supervisory experience in a call centre environment.

·Experience coaching, developing, and mentoring work teams.

·Exceptional communication (written and verbal) interpersonal and customer service skills.

·Demonstrated work procedure and process improvement skills

·Strong leadership and organizational skills

·Strong attention to detail. Able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

·Experience using various computer software and communications equipment, knowledge of order entry systems is an asset.
