Job Description:

Ecolab's Textile Care Division provides products, systems and services that meet the complex needs of large commercial laundry operations. Recognizing that customers differ in size, technology and service requirements, Ecolab formed the Textile Care Division to offer chemical and dispensing systems for textile rental and industrial laundries. Ecolab delivers a total approach to laundry problems with a wide and varied offering that is unmatched in the industry.

To help customers meet the increasing challenges in the commercial laundry industry, Textile Care is focusing sales, research and development resources exclusively on giving those customers a competitive edge. Laundry chemistry is a complex science, taking into account fabric construction, soil characteristics, wash classification, detergency and water chemistry. Textile Care offers expert consulting to help customers control their total cost to launder. This is where you come in.

In this full-time field sales position, you are responsible for selling, developing, servicing, and managing existing commercial laundry accounts.

This position is ahead of need in anticipation of future growth over the next few months.



Main Responsibilities:


·As the primary customer contact, your success will depend on your ability to support Ecolab's line of Textile Care laundry products, and provide each customer with prompt, personal, and reliable service. You will be the solution for appreciative customers who operate around-the-clock.

·While working independently, you will learn your customers' operations, understand their cleaning challenges, and devise cleaning solutions to meet their needs.

·You will combine your sales and relationship development skills with your mechanical aptitude to install and repair Ecolab systems.



Key Qualifications:


·With your previous 2 years outside technical or chemical sales/service experience, you have proven ability to be resilient, persuasive, deliver results and succeed in a competitive sales environment.

·You have a high school diploma; a university degree is preferred.

·You possess mechanical reasoning ability and exhibit problem solving skills to troubleshoot and repair equipment and dispensing systems, in addition to your outstanding consulting skills.

·You display excellent planning and organizational skills, strong relationship management capability, and demonstrate the flexibility to adapt and adjust your day to assist your customers in order to succeed in this fast paced multi-tasking environment.

·You are able to lift and carry 50 pounds, have a valid drivers license and good driving record.

·Bilingualism, English and French is preferred.

Overall Territory : Based out of Toronto and on occasion may include travel through Southern Ontario.
On Call and Overnight travel : Weekend calls, though very seldom, may happen. This position will require you to be reachable by phone during weekends. Some overnight travel may be required.
Salary Offered : Base salary plus commission, bonus and a company vehicle.
